Le Canal du Midi

The Canal du Midi begins its progression to the Mediterranean in the center of Toulouse where it is connected with the Canal de Garonne and the Canal de Brienne. The over 220 miles of water ways, lined with Planes trees, meanders its way through countrysides, villages, and cities in Occitanie, France. It is a product of the industrial revolution that now serves as recreation for the countless canal boats of various shapes and colors that make use of it, as well as the hikers and cyclists who ride alongside it.
